About
Hi,
My name is Pedro Reys.
I’m a Brazilian software developer, graduated at Centro Universitário de Brasília. I also hold an MBA on strategic management of information systems at Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
I’ve been professionally developing software since 2001, when I began to develop some web and some small Delphi applications. Since then, I’ve been mostly developing software for Government. Because of that, I have been in touch with several different domains as HR, Financial Business and Public CRM.
There was a time when I used to believe on the traditional manufacture approach to software development. After trying and, obviously, failing on using that approach, I became an Agile believer and enthusiastic.
My reading and thinking interests are now focused in Agile Software Development, without a specific brand or flag, just Agile. On top of my reading and studying backlog are themes such as Agile Project Management, Agile Adoption, Agile Contracts and Adopting Agile on Regulated Environments.
So, the reason why I created this blog is to share my thoughts and impressions on the realm of software development and Agile, but don’t be surprised if you find some posts that apparently have nothing to do with that. :)
Please, fell free and encouraged to share your thoughts on the comments area of each post.
Nice to meet you.
Pedro Reys
